I'm most curious about two things: Does it still get updates, and two: is it indeed true population (at least on Atlantic) is more than what the most popular free shards have? I was worried since UO is so old no one would be playing it, but according to reddit posts over in UO reddit.Atlantic actually has a bigger population than free shards do. But it was by far most fun MMO (at least at the time) that I've played. I haven't played UO in quite a while, I joined after they changed how PvP works. And I've looked at various freeshards, but after much research I think I'd much rather go onto one of the official ones if I decide to go back to UO. I know UO is old, but been wanting to back to it. I narrowed it to most likely Ultima Online. I've played WoW many years, and time for something else. But I'm just worn out on WoW and need a very long extended break. Not because its bad, Legion is a lot better than WoD was.
